Time Like Coins is Colleen Moyne’s first solo collection of poems, published by Ginninderra Press at the end of 2018 and later nominated for an Anne Elder Award — the award for a first volume of poetry published in Australia.

The poems turn a patient eye on memory, loss, nature, family and ageing — on the small details that give a life its shape. There is warmth here, and honesty, and a good deal of quiet play.

Where Called to Coddiwomple moves between memory and the road, Time Like Coins stays still and looks closely — a good place to start with Colleen’s poetry, and a good place to return to.
